Ostatnia dekada przynosi historyczny postęp – anestezję regionalną pod kontrolą ultrasonografii. Istnieją już wystarczające dowody, aby uznać zalety i wyższość tej techniki. Dzięki USG zwiększa się popularność regionalnej anestezji, ale jednocześnie powstają pytania jak powinien być zorganizowany, monitorowany i weryfikowany proces szkoleniowy. W niniejszym opracowaniu omówione są podstawowe zasady bezpiecznego stosowania USG w anestezji regionalnej i przedstawione obrazy ultrasonograficzne najpopularniejszych blokad.

The last decade brings historical progress – regional anaesthesia under ultrasound guidance. Enough evidence exists already to accept benefits and superiority of those techniques. USG increased popularity of regional anesthesia, however at the same time questions are raised how training should be organized, supervised and verified. Basics rules of safe ultrasound usage are described and ultrasound pictures of most popular blocks shown.
