Artykuł stanowi krótkie podsumowanie aktualnego stanu wiedzy na temat dyskomfortu, jaki może się pojawiać w związku z noszeniem soczewek kontaktowych, przyczyn jego występowania oraz rozwiązań pozwalających go uniknąć. Zawiera również dyskusję na temat tego, jakie kryteria doboru soczewek powinny być najistotniejsze dla specjalisty.

The article is a brief summary of the current state of knowledge about contact lens discomfort, the reasons for its occurrence and solutions to avoid it. There is also a discussion what should be the most important in contact lens fitting for the specialist.
