Brodawczak odwrócony należy do grupy niezłośliwych nowotworów nosa i zatok przynosowych, który pomimo swojego łagodnego charakteru stanowi wyzwanie diagnostyczno-terapeutyczne. Ekspansja tego typu nowotworu do przedniego dołu czaszki bez przemiany złośliwej jest rzadko obserwowana. Rokowanie zależy od zajęcia przez naciek opony twardej oraz doszczętności zabiegu operacyjnego. Celem pracy jest opis dwóch chorych z brodawczakami odwróconymi z obustronnym zajęciem zatok czołowych, przedniego dołu czaszki i oczodołu, usuniętych w jednym przypadku poprzez dostęp przeztwarzowy i obustronną kraniotomię czołową, a w drugim z dostępu endoskopowego przy współpracy z neurochirurgiem.

Inverted papilloma belongs to the group of benign tumours of the nose and paranasal sinuses which, despite its benign nature, poses a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. The expansion of this type of tumour to the anterior cranial fossa without malignant transformation is rarely observed. The prognosis depends on the presence of infiltration of the dura mater and the completeness of the surgical procedure. The aim of the paper is to describe two cases of patients with inverted papilloma with bilateral extension into the frontal sinuses, anterior cranial fossa and orbit, removed in one case through a transfacial approach and bilateral frontal craniotomy and in the other case through endoscopic access in cooperation with the neurosurgeon.
