The performance of hybrid power system used for supplying power to the autonomous road light system is analyzed in this paper. The calculations were based on data describing the typical climatic conditions in the selected location on Polish territory. The power flow simulation results were presented. The results show that the efficiency of micro-wind turbine is low. This leads to the conclusion that there is no economic justification to use it in such system
