The work includes some remarks about 318 taxons of the algae from
Mesotaeniaceae family and the Desmidiales order indicated in samples collected in the
period 1979-1982 on the transition peat bog „Bagno Przerębiec”. The observations were
then compared with the data offered by the latest world literature on the subject.
