The effects of organ ophosphorus insecticides (IFO), on the activity of gluthathione
S-transferase (GST) of pig lymphocytes were investigated. Activity of microsomal GST with
both CDNB and DCNB as substrates was observed, activity of cytosolic GST only with
CDNB. After incubation of lymfocytes with IFO (malathion and methylparathion), activity
of GST was increased. The observed changes were dependend on the structure of tested
compounds, its dose and time incubation.
