Current notes on the zooplankton of the lakes of the Babia Gora massif

The present investigations are a continuation of the previous studies on the zooplanktonic organisms in the waters of the Babia G?ra massif and its buffer zone (Komala 1996, 1997a,b, 1998a). In particular, the lakes situated on its southern slope were studied at present from the point of view of the occurrence of the Paramecium aurelia species complex and other zooplankton. So far none of the investigated species of the complex have been found, however, some dominant zooplankton was registered.
