Further investigations on zooplankton of some lakes of the Mt Babia Gora

This preliminary report reveals a significant acidity of the lakes on the Babia Gora massif, and rather poor differentiation of the zooplanktonic organisms. So far none of the investigated species of the Paramecium aurelia complex have been found. However, some dominant zooplankton was registered in all six investigated lakes.
