Autonomic impairment is associated with poor progno in many diseases.The article critically reviews arguments found in the literature showing autonomic dysfunction in chronic renal failure patients.The autonmic nervous system problems will become of great clinical relevance considering increasing number and age of uremic patients being dialysed worlwide.
