An unusual cause of hypochromic, microcytic anemia detected on capsule endoscopy

We present you a case of a 79-year old man who was examined with capsule endoscopy for hypochromic microcytic anemia. During the examination multiple hookworms 5 to 10 mm long were visualized in distal ileum.
