In the epilogue of his work, Wulff (1999) presented the concept of post- -critical beliefs as a proposal for the description of religion in the context of continuous secularization processes and socio-cultural changes. According to Wulff (1999), we may place potential attitudes toward religion in a two-dimensional space in which the vertical dimension means Inclusion vs. Exclusion of Transcendence and the horizontal one-Literal vs. Symbolic Interpretation of religion. The presented research is an attempt to find out whether emotions toward God are related to the attitudes toward religion separated by Wulff. The results of our research show that Orthodoxy and Second Naiveté correlate positively with Positive Emotions and Sense of Guilt whereas External Critique and Relativism correlate positively with Anger toward God.
