In this article you will find abstracts of four works presented during the last BCLA conference, together with my short comments on their topics. These works confirm that „breathable” silicone hydrogel contact lenses together with peroxide contact lens care system are the optimal option, which could be offered by eye care specialists for their patients.

W artykule omówiono cztery wybrane prace przedstawione na tegorocznej konferencji Brytyjskiego Stowarzyszenia Soczewek Kontaktowych (BCLA, British Contact Lens Association). Potwierdzają one, że „oddychające” silikonowo- hydrożelowe soczewki kontaktowe, w połączeniu z systemem pielęgnacyjnym na bazie nadtlenku wodoru, są obecnie optymalnym rozwiązaniem, jakie specjalista kontaktolog może zaoferować swoim pacjentom.
