The method of isolation fungal cultures from a single spores of Zoophthora species

Zoophthora neoaphidis (Remaud. et Henneb.) Balazy is the most important and the most frequently causing epizootics of aphids fungal species among all species of entomopathogenic fungi from Entomophthorales appearing in North-Western Poland. As a result of the experiments performed, it was possible to describe a method for obtaining the isolates from single spore of Z. neoaphidis. This method may be of great importance for futher studies of the biology of Z. neoaphidis and others similar species aimed as their applications in the production of bio-insecticides.
