Various clinical forms of ocular allergy included seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, perennial allergic conjunctivitis, acute allergic conjunctivitis, contact blepharoconjunctivitis and two more severe diseases: vernal keratoconjunctivitis and atopic keratoconjunctivitis. The last two often cause severe visual complications. Treatment should be based on the duration and frequency of symptoms and the severity of corneal involvement.

Sezonowe alergiczne zapalenie spojówek, całoroczne alergiczne zapalenie spojówek, ostre alergiczne zapalenie spojówek, kontaktowe zapalenie skóry powiek i spojówki oraz dwa poważniejsze schorzenia: wiosenne zapalenie rogówki i spojówek oraz atopowe zapalenie rogówki i spojówek, są różnymi formami alergicznych chorób oczu. Dwie ostatnie postacie często prowadzą do poważnych zaburzeń wzrokowych. W zależności od długości choroby, częstości zaostrzeń i ciężkości objawów rogówkowych stosuje się odpowiednie leczenie.
