Global watermelon production surged in 2023, with China dominating. Russia's production lags, despite its potential. A field experiment was conducted at the field of Layyah, Pakistan during the period from 2021 to 2022 to study the response of different varieties seedless watermelon under agro-ecological conditions of Layyah, Punjab, Pakistan. The experiment considered of V1 = Zhong Kong Wuzi, V2 = Red Viag, V3 = Gallen Greherd, V4 = Zhong Kong 863, V5 = Zhong Kong No. 7, V6 = Zhers Kong SAS, V7 = Xiaobao wuzhu and V8 = Hongtal Yangerhau. The experiment was conducted in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. Data was collected on days taken to start of germination, vine length (cm), internodal distance (cm), number of branches, days taken to first flower, number of female flowers, number of male flowers, number of fruits per vine, average fruit weight (kg), fruit width (cm), fruit length(cm), rind thickness (mm) and yield per vine (kg). A statistically significant variation was recorded in terms of all the characters related to growth and yield of seedless Watermelon. The better results were obtained in vine length (cm), maximum inter nodal length, was observed in V1 = Zhong Kong Wuzi as compared to all other varieties. Moreover, maximum number of branches, female flowers, number of melons per vine and maximum average fruit weight (kg) was also observed in this Chinese variety Zhong Kong Wuzi under agro-ecological conditions of Layyah, Punjab, Pakistan.
