Admission. Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder that can lead to dangerous complications. It is one of the deadliest disorders. The condition of a patient suffering from anorexia can significantly worsen, which is why it is crucial to take prompt action aimed at improving both the physical and mental health of the patient. Aim. The aim of this is analysis the nursing problems resulting from the disease and to outline the tasks of the nurse in relation to a child with selected complications arising from the dysfunction of the body during the course of anorexia nervosa. Material and methods. The study uses a literature analysis. Results. The most important aspect of this work is determining the role of the nurse and the interventions they can take to address the problems of the patient. Conclusions. Nursing care for a child with anorexia nervosa includes, among other things, monitoring vital signs, participation in the patient's nutrition and hydration, ensuring psychological comfort, and educating both the patient and their family.

Wstęp. Jadłowstręt psychiczny jest zaburzeniem odżywiania mogącym prowadzić do niebezpiecznych powikłań. Jest jednym z najbardziej śmiertelnych zaburzeń. Stan pacjentki chorującej na anoreksję może się znacznie pogłębić, dlatego kluczowe jest podjęcie szybkich działań mających na celu poprawę stanu fizycznego i psychicznego. Cel. Celem jest analiza problemów pielęgnacyjnych, wynikających z choroby oraz wskazanie zadań opiekuńczych, sprawowanych wobec dziecka z wybranymi powikłaniami wynikającymi z zaburzenia działania organizmu w przebiegu jadłowstrętu psychicznego. Materiał i metody. W pracy wykorzystano metodę analizy literatury. Wyniki. Najważniejsze w pracy jest ustalenie roli pielęgniarki i interwencje, które może podjąć w celu rozwiązania problemów pacjentki. Wnioski. Opieka pielęgniarska nad pacjentką z jadłowstrętem psychicznym obejmuje m.in. kontrolę podstawowych paramentów życiowych, udział w odżywianiu i nawadnianiu pacjentki, zapewnianie komfortu psychicznego oraz edukację pacjentki i rodziny.
