In this paper are discussed the most common helminthes belonging to classes Trematoda, Cestoda and Nematoda, which occur in Poland in wild ruminants: red deer, roe deer, moose and European bison, and also in the introduced fallow deer and sika deer. In cervides in Poland 60 species and in European bison 36 species of helminthes, have been registrated, they are localized in most of tissues and internal organs of these animals. The biology of helminthes is presented and helminthoses they provoke are described. The knowledge of these problems can be useful in elaboration of prophylactics of occurrence of helminthoses in hounting grounds and also in reserves and in farming of these animals.
