This paper is both, a photographic summary of a scientific and a touristic expedition carried out in October 2019 in Plitviče Lakes National Park, the oldest and the largest national park in the Republic of Croatia, to know the natural beauties and structure of this UNESCO World Heritage. Plitviče Lakes National Park consists of 16 crystalline lakes, emerald-blue colored and connected by a series of more than 90 cascades and waterfalls. The photos show some of the park structures and the wilderness areas, with spacious forest complexes, among which lakes, small streams, and waterfalls extend, besides geological formations and hydrogeological karst phenomenon, species of plants, and birds.
