Leisure activities of university college staff

Study aim: To determine the participation of academic teachers in leisure activities for that group contribute to shaping habits of a large percentage of young people.Material and methods: A group of 52 staff members (about 30%) of a private university college, aged 25 - 70 years, were interviewed with respect to their participation in sports, recreation and tourism in the recent year. Chi-square function in the logarithmic form was used in data analysis.Results: Over two-thirds participants declared practicing recreational activities (43% regularly); 80% or more declared short- or long-lasting local trips and 50% declared journeys abroad.Conclusions: The knowledge of benefits brought about by motor activities and the awareness of their necessity stimulate the activities, especially the tourism and recreational ones of people.

Why is it important to know the geomorphodiversity, the geodiversity, the hydrological, and the biological diversity of the region we visit? This paper is a photographic summary of several scientific, and touristic expeditions carried out in recent years in different ecosystems in America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. The main objective is to show the importance of the relationship between knowledge about the environment, and its resources, with the scenic beauty of the landscape of natural environments, translated into a huge number of rivers, streams, and crystalline lakes connected by a series of cascades, and waterfalls, embedded in a network of mountains of exuberant geological formation, deserts, and forests rich in plant, and animal species.

This paper is a photographic summary of trips to three cities that we consider among the most representative of the harmonious relationship between humans and cats: Istanbul, Kotor, and Saint Petersburg. The photos show some of the beauty of these cities: architecture, avenues, museums, squares, parks, the natural beauty of the surroundings, and, of course, its community's cats.

Tourism is a top priority in economic development strategies in Pangandaran District. The tourism industry in Pangandaran carried out along the coastal areas involved society around the site. However, the rapid development of coastal tourism in Pangandaran raises a variety of environmental and social problems that require management strategies. This research is done to draw up directives based on coastal developments in the district of Pangandaran beach tourism by applying Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) in the SWOT analysis, which is commonly called as A'WOT. The results showed that the regional government of Pangandaran Regency conceives regional regulations regarding the use of coastal borders based on the resource potential and community participation. Furthermore, they also implement existing laws and regulations by involving the community to optimize supervision on activities that harm tourism. Finally, regional policies or regulations made by the Regional Government of Pangandaran Regency must follow the norms adopted by the local community. It is essential to know that coastal area of Pangandaraan has a unique system and natural system that could be as potential tourism activities.

The Ciletuh-Pelabuhanratu National Park area has been designated as a geopark area since 2015 by the Central Government and three years later, in 2018, it was designated as a Global Geopark Network by UNESCO. Since being designated as a geopark area, this area has been increasing a lot, especially in the tourism sector with the recorded number of tourists being 14,723,559 visitors in 2019-2020. The purpose of this report is to analyze the various regulations used in the management and development of the UNESCO Global Geopark area and their application through a study of the Attractions, Accessibility, and Amenities (3A) components of tourism. The results of this study state that the implementation of the policy for the development of tourism areas in Ciletuh Bay has not run optimally, marked by difficult accessibility also inadequate facilities and infrastructure. So, it requires cooperation from various parties, including the government, the private sector, and the surrounding community in the form of active participation and investment.

The Government of Garut District launched the priority of 10 tourist destinations' development program to be more comfortable and secure based on the visits rate assessment results and a promising tourism potential to many visitors. This report aims to determine the implementation of tourism development policies in Garut District, which were reviewed with the criteria approach, namely attraction, accessibility, and amenities. This reporting approaches describe the implementation of tourism development policies in the Garut District. The results show the implementation of tourism development policies in Garut District has been going well even though several problems still exist. Some of the problems identified include accessibility that is still not very supportive, such as the road to the location of tourism being relatively small. Facilities and infrastructure in tourism objects have not been appropriately managed due to budget constraints, as well as the low awareness of the public about the culture of tourism awareness and the tourism benefits.

The evidence of Cross River State in Nigeria as a global visual cultural, biodiversity and wildlife tourism distinction located in West Africa is presented using photo-inventory. A socio-scientific photo-sourcing and explanation was carried out. The ancient city of Calabar that received early Christian missionaries to Nigeria is the capital of Cross River State in Nigeria, West Africa now host the Africa’s annual biggest street party (Calabar carnival). The ancient house of Mary Mitchell Slessor a Scottish missionary to Nigeria who stopped the ancient practice of killing of twins and multiple births built in 1848, stands in Calabar as a monument that attracts tourists from all parts of the world. The international Ekpe masquerade, boat and canoe race in Calabar, lebuko new yam festival in Ugep, Central Cross River are tourists attracted festivals. Being home of tropical forest with rare biodiversity added with wildlife, some mammals as endangered Gorilla, drill, chimpanzee and African black elephants, including different species of African Primates are seen in the protected zones of the National Park and Afi Wildlife Sanctuary. Photos of numerous huge ancient carved and engraved standing stones (Monoliths) dating back to 1200 BC are found in about 30 communities in Ikom, the Central part of Cross River State of Nigeria. Spectacular natural waterfalls for relaxation are in existence. The Obudu mountain Resort city exhibit the four weather type witness in Europe and America. The Resort is located on a mountain 1600 m high in the Northern Cross River State. Photos of the winding road from the bottom of the mountain to the top and nature dug swimming pools are places to visit.
