This work attempt to examine the influence of dichlorvos (0,0-dimethyl-0-2,2-dichlorovinylphosphate) on the structure of DNA from isolated lymphocyte’s nuclei. The lymphocyte’s nuclei were obtained from Sus scrofa domesiica peripheral blood by Jones and Paulus-Thomas method (1989). DNA was incubated with dichlorvos at the doses 45 цМ, 135 /хМ, 315 /tM at 1, 24, 48, 72 hours. Changes can be seen after 1 h of incubation. Incubation with dichlorvos affects the degradation of isolated DNA.

Apoptosis is one of the kinds of cell death. This paper presents the morphological and biochemical changes which are connected with apoptotic cell death. The factors, which activate this process, are described in this article. Moreover the groups of genes, proteins and enzymes that participate in the „call suicide” are characterised. The advantages and disadvantages of the chosen methods of investigations are discussed.

The effects of organ ophosphorus insecticides (IFO), on the activity of gluthathione S-transferase (GST) of pig lymphocytes were investigated. Activity of microsomal GST with both CDNB and DCNB as substrates was observed, activity of cytosolic GST only with CDNB. After incubation of lymfocytes with IFO (malathion and methylparathion), activity of GST was increased. The observed changes were dependend on the structure of tested compounds, its dose and time incubation.
