The viability of freshly isolated or heat-treated lymphocytes was estimated by the classical microscopic method based on trypan blue inclusion and it was measured by flow cytometry of the cells stained with acridine orange and ethydium bromide or with acridine orange alone. It has been showed that (low cytometry of fluorescence stained cells allowed to determine the viability of the cell suspensions containing even a small percentage of dead cells rapidly and accurately.
