Changes of number, biomass and reproductiveness of Eisenia fetida on compost of town wasts and other substrates were investigated.Also, the composition of the available mineral elements was determined in substrates with and without eartworms.Wormworked materials had higher content of N,K and in the most cases P, Ca,and Na.For few month fresh compost of town wastes was toxic for earthwarms.
