Praca zawiera wykaz gatunków flory dwóch uroczysk leśnych, położonych na północ od Łodzi. Ogółem stwierdzono 364 gatunki, w tym 311 roślin naczyniowych, 44 gatunki mchów i 9 gatunków wątrobowców. We florze badanych uroczysk zwraca uwagę stosunkowo duży udział roślin naczyniowych, tworzących głównie w zespołach grądowych wielobarwny aspekt wczesnowiosenny. Do rzadkości florystycznych w okolicach Łodzi należą: Lycopodium complanatum, Pulsatilla patens, P. vernalis, Hedera helix (kwitnący), Polygonatum verticillatum i Cephalanthera rubra. Znaleziono 12 gatunków podlegających ochronie zupełnej oraz 6 podlegających ochronie częściowej.

Floristic studies performed in the years 1971—1976 in the forest complexes of Krogulec and Szczawin (Łódź city voivodeship) demonstrated the presence of 311 species of vascular plants, 44 species of Musci and 9 species of Hepaticae. In both forest complexes, fir occurs in the tree cover and in the undergrowth, reaching here northern border of its spread. From among mountain species, fir is accompanied sporadically by Dryopteris austriaca and Polygonatum verticillatum. Moreover, the following species, rare in the neighbourhood of Łódź, are noteworthy: Lycopodium complanatum, Pulsatilla patens, P. vernalis, Hedera helix (flowering), Cephalanthera riibra and Corydalis solida.

The paper contains phytosociological characteristics of forest communities with a big participation of the fir-tree in the tree-stand, which reaches here a northern boundary of its range. There are distinguished the following forest phytocoenoses: Circaeo-Alnetum, Tilio-Carpinetum stachyetosum silvaticae, Tillo-Carplnetum degeneration form with Pinus sllvestris, Tillo-Carpinetum abietetosum and Peucedano-Pinetum typicum.

The paper(lst part of a longer series is based on results of studies performed within the project 09.10., research subject 09.10.03.01.10: "Effeet of the excevation mine and electricity works on forest complexes of the Beichatow Industrial District - documentation floristic-phytosociological studies" supported by the Forestry Research Institute in Warsaw. On the basis of the obtained results, conclusions are made concerning the remodelling of exploited tree stands related to the drying of the territory due to the mine development and to an expected action of industrial emissions. , Detailed bryological studies undertaken on the above basis and employing the unusual ecological sensitivity of Bryophyta should bring valuable data on the intensity of environmental alterations. Moreover, the progressing drying of the territory will result in a rapid disappearance of a considerable part of hydrophilic Bryophyta.

Przedstawiona praca (I część dłuższego cyklu) oparta jest na wynikach badań prowadzonych w zakresie problemu węzłowego 09.10., w temacie badawczym 09.10.03.01.10 pt. Wpływ kopalni odkrywkowej i elektrowni na kompleksy leśne Bełchatowskiego Okręgu Przemysłowego - dokumentacyjne badania florystyczno-fitosocjologiczne, finansowanym przez Instytut Badawczy Leśnictwa w Warszawie. Na podstawie wyników badań formułowane będą wnioski dotyczące przebudowy drzewostanów gospodarczych, zmieniających się pod wpływem osuszania terenów wokół kopalni oraz w związku z działaniem emisji przemysłowych. Podjęte badania briologiczne, oparte na szczególnej wrażliwości ekologicznej mszaków, dostarczą cennych danych wskazujących na intensywność zmian zachodzących w siedliskach.

The present study describes changes that have occured in the phytocoenosis of Pino-Quercetum abieieiosuni in the „Jamno” reserve. It was determined that the vegetation of this reserve, due to its high dynamics, recovers to its natural form of Tilio-Carpinetum lypicum with Abies alba. The disapperance of Pinus silvestris from all layers of the phytocoenosis and an essential increase in Carpinus betulus and Quereus rohur in the tree-stand was observed. A slight quantitative increase in Abies alba in the tree-stand was also noticed. Changes in the field layer consist mainly in the extinction of species typical of coniferous and increase in species typical of deciduous forests.

Objectives: To evaluate the results of treatment in a group of patients undergoing cataract phacoemulsification with sulcus implantation of single-piece foldable intraocular lenses. Material and methods: A total of 24 eyes of 24 patients, who underwent cataract phacoemulsification in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw in 2008–2015 was included. As a result of intraoperative rupture of the posterior lens capsule, single-piece foldable intraocular lens was implanted into the ciliary sulcus. Visual acuity, intraocular pressure, anterior and posterior segment of the eyes were assessed before the surgery, on days 1 and 7 after the surgery and in the period of 6 to 84 months after the surgery. Results: During the follow-up period from 6 months to 7 years, an improvement in BCVA was shown by an average of 0.2 on the Snellen chart. Complication included: pigment dispersion (42%), increased intraocular pressure or the need to modify antiglaucoma treatment (25%), iris transillumination defect (17%). Conclusions: In the case of cataract phacoemulsification complicated by rupture of the posterior lens capsule, sulcus implantation of a single-piece foldable intraocular lens improves visual acuity, but poses a risk of developing secondary glaucoma. If we choose such a solution, we should provide patients with the possibility of regular checkups. Due to relatively frequent complications, in cases of cataract surgery with posterior capsule rupture, the authors recommend choosing other fixation methods.

Cel pracy: Ocena odległych wyników leczenia w grupie pacjentów poddanych operacji fakoemulsyfikacji zaćmy z fiksacją na torebkę przednią jednoczęściowych zwijalnych soczewek wewnątrzgałkowych. Materiał i metody: Grupę badaną stanowiło 24 oczu 24 pacjentów, którzy w latach 2008–2015 zostali poddani operacji fakoemulsyfikacji zaćmy na Oddziale Okulistyki Centralnego Szpitala Klinicznego MSWiA w Warszawie. W grupie tej po śródoperacyjnym przerwaniu torebki tylnej soczewki zastosowano implantację jednoczęściowej zwijalnej soczewki wewnątrzgałkowej do komory tylnej z fiksacją na torebce przedniej soczewki. Oceniano ostrość wzroku, ciśnienie wewnątrzgałkowe, odcinek przedni i tylny oczu przed zabiegiem chirurgicznym, w 1. i 7. dobie po operacji oraz w okresie 6–84 miesięcy od zabiegu. Wyniki: W obserwacji trwającej od 6 miesięcy do 7 lat (średnio 46 ± 26,5 miesiąca) wykazano poprawę najlepszej skorygowanej ostrości wzroku średnio o 0,2 na tablicy Snellena oraz stwierdzono: u 25% badanych podwyższone ciśnienie wewnątrzgałkowe lub konieczność modyfikacji leczenia przeciwjaskrowego, u 42% pacjentów dyspersję barwnika z listka barwnikowego tęczówki, u 17% transiluminację tęczówki. Wnioski: W przypadku zabiegu fakoemulsyfikacji zaćmy powikłanego przerwaniem torebki tylnej soczewki implantacja jednoczęściowej zwijanej soczewki wewnątrzgałkowej do bruzdy ciała rzęskowego zapewnia poprawę ostrości wzroku, jednak stwarza ryzyko rozwoju jaskry wtórnej. Jeżeli zdecydujemy się na takie rozwiązanie, należy zapewnić pacjentom możliwość regularnych kontroli. Ze względu na stosunkowo częste powikłania w przypadkach operacji zaćmy z uszkodzeniem torebki tylnej soczewki autorzy zalecają wybór soczewek trzyczęściowych.
