In the area of Central Poland about 35 new nature reserves are projected to be from. A mong them forest reserves take the first place. They are ment to protect natural phytocoenosis of forest which are typical for this area. Also formation of few peatbog-, floristic-, and landscape- reserves is of great importance. An enlargement of the area of four already exsisting reserves is also expected.

At the area of planned forest reserve "Dąbrowa at Niżankowice" Potentillo albae-Quercetum association was distinguished. Quercus sessllis, existing here in its original locality, predominates in the tree-stand. The occurence of rare species: Senecio fuchsii Gmel., Galium rotundifolium L., and Trifolium rubens L. was stated in the flora of the reserve. Protection provided by the reserve will make possible the maintenance of the last fragment of a deciduous forest in the Załęcze Nature Park area (for summary see page 598-599).

The investigations were carried out in the years 1979-1980 in nature reserve „Błogie”. Following plant communities are distinguished: Carici elongatae-Alnetum Koch 1926, Circaeo-Alnetum Oberd. 1953, Tilio-Carpinetum Tracz. 1962 abietetosum Zaręba 1971 variant with Chrysosplenium alternifolium and typical variant as well as Pino-Quercetum Kozł. 1925 abietetosum Olaczek 1965. In all phytocoenoses may be seen damages as a form and phases of degeneration. It is a result of incorrigible management of forest. Among 289 species of vascular plants it is worth to note a mountain species - Lycopodium selago.

In Mierzyce forest range there were revealed 274 species of vascular plants. In the forest range flora, two rare species were discovered, and namely: Senecio fuchsil Gmel. and Adenophora lililfolia (L.) Bess. It is postulated that their localities should be put under protection as a natural monument encompassing remnants of old oak and pine tree-stand.

In the present paper a list of 4 species of mosses and 25 rare species of vascular plants from the Międzyrzecze Warty and Widawki Landscape Park and surrounding areas is presented.

Rhododendron flavum occurs naturally in Southern Poland but on one locality only. In twenties plant seedlings taken from natural area of the species in Volhynia were moved to Central Poland and planted in forest. The plant grows well and for its security the reserve „Małecz” has been established in 1987. It is an example of conservation ex situ but in natural site named in Poland metaplantation. The actual plant cover of this reserve is described in the paper.

The geobotanical studies on protected lime-forest were carried out 31 years later after first investigation and have shown deep and oriented changes in the flora and plant communities. The flora has become richer: 8 species of vasculars and 5 mosses have diminished but 51 vasculars and 5 mosses are added. The vegetation has changed in the way of progressive succession from mixed forest to climax deciduous forest. It means, that the protection of the reserve was successful.
