Materiał i metody Badaniami objęto łącznie 22 przypadki ostrogi piętowej, z czego 14 rozpoznano u kobiet i 8 u mężczyzn. W grupie A zastosowano sonoterapię połączoną z terapią tkanek miękkich, natomiast w grupie B - wyłącznie terapię manualną Wyniki Zarówno w grupie A, jak i B stwierdzono istotne obniżenie dolegliwości bólowych i zwiększenie możliwości funkcjonalnych u wszystkich badanych. Wnioski Wyniki potwierdzają zasadność stosowania ultrasonoterapii i terapii tkanek miękkich w leczeniu zachowawczym ostrogi piętowej i upoważniają do przeprowadzenia badań na większej liczbie pacjentów.
Introduction: Morphological and functional changes in cells, tissues and organs causing characteristic for old age reduction of the efficiency of all organs, and therefore decrease in the level of physical fitness. To determine its level, to find areas of weakness and select optimal physical activity programs that will improve the quality of life and health of older people it is necessary to multi-dimensional assess the level of physical fitness. The aim of this study is to evaluate the fitness level of students of the University of the Third Age in Warsaw Almamer with Fullerton Functional Fitness Test in relation to American standards.
