The article focuses on short-time psychological intervention in sport. It presents aims of such an intervention, its phases and rules. The authors are convinced that psychological intervention in sport is not identical if compared to short-time intervention in crisis. In sport, this intervention is usually strongly connected to sportsman’s task and that is way some special knowledge and competence is expected from a psychologist (or a physician).
