Praca powstała w wyniku badań porównawczych zbiorowiska okrzemek
rzeki Strawy, prowadzonych w latach 1974— 1975, przed i po uruchomieniu
oczyszczalni ścieków w Piotrkowie Trybunalskim.
Zamieszczono spis gatunków okrzemek oraz tabelę przedstawiającą ogólną
liczbę jednostek taksonomicznych, w której podano również ich skład
ilościowy w 1 ml mikrobentosu.
Zbiorowiska okrzemek w badanych okresach porównano metodą korelacji
rang.

This study was aimed at analysis of association of bentos diatoms of the Strawa
river, at a stand in Przygłów, in 1974 (before establishment of the sewage cleaning
station in Piotrków Trybunalski) and in 1975 (after establishment of the station).
Results of physico-chemical studies of the water of the Strawa river are reported.
In general, 237 taxons of diatoms were determined. Associations were compared by
the rank correlation method after Kadłubowska.
Within the period of investigations, no changes in the water purity class and
in the diatomic associations of the Strawa river were found.
