The use of multifocal contact lenses is often perceived as a method of correcting presbyopia in patients aged 50+. However there are many other ways to apply such correction, also in younger people and even in children. The following article describes several examples of multifocal lenses application in patients from 13 to 68 years of age.

Multifokalne soczewki kontaktowe kojarzą się zwykle z możliwością wyrównania prezbiopii w wieku 50+. Tymczasem jest wiele innych możliwości zastosowania takiej korekcji, także u osób znacznie młodszych, a nawet u dzieci. W poniższym artykule opisano kilka przykładów aplikacji soczewek wieloogniskowych u pacjentów w wieku 13–68 lat.
