There is no doubt about the importance and impact of ports on our environment. The search for a mute smart, supported among other elements in the smart industry, makes ports look smart. The penetration of the concept in the Spanish port model makes it necessary to establish some indicators and some measurement indexes that allow categorizing the different ports according to their smart port component. It is concluded from the study that the ports of Valencia and Barcelona, predominantly container ports, are the ports that have a higher degree of smart ports.
