Dyskomfort związany z używaniem soczewek kontaktowych jest istotnym problemem dla pacjentów, kontaktologów, jak i całej branży zajmującej się tą dziedziną. To ważne zagadnienie zarówno z klinicznego, jak i ekonomicznego punktu widzenia. Artykuł jest próbą podsumowania Raportu na temat dyskomfortu w soczewkach kontaktowych opublikowanego przez Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society (TFOS) w 2013 r. w czasopiśmie „Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science”.

Contact lens discomfort is a significant issue which impacts contact lens wearers, eye care practitioners and whole contact lens industry. The importance of this condition is both clinical and economical. This paper is a short review of report published by Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society – International Workshop on Contact Lens Discomfort in Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science paper in 2013.
