Torbiele enterogenne to rzadko występujące wrodzone zaburzenia rozwojowe, rozpoznawane głównie w okresie prenatalnym i niemowlęcym. Zmiany te mogą się wywodzić z każdej części przewodu pokarmowego – od jamy ustnej aż po odbyt. Ze względu na brak charakterystycznych objawów mogą stanowić duży problem diagnostyczny. Często obserwuje się współistnienie torbieli enterogennych z innymi wadami rozwojowymi. W diagnostyce wykorzystuje się głównie obrazowanie za pomocą ultrasonografii lub rezonansu magnetycznego. Postępowaniem z wyboru w większości przypadków zmian o charakterze torbieli enterogennych jest zabieg chirurgiczny. W pracy zaprezentowano przypadek 3-miesięcznej dziewczynki skierowanej na Oddział Endokrynologii Dzieci z podejrzeniem torbieli jajnika, u której rozpoznano torbiel enterogenną zlokalizowaną w zatoce Douglasa.

Enterogenous cysts are rare congenital lesions, diagnosed mainly prenatally and during infancy. These anomalies may occur anywhere along the gastrointestinal tract – from the mouth to the anus. They are difficult to diagnose because there are no characteristic symptoms. Coexistence of enterogenous cysts with other developmental defects is common. They are primarily diagnosed using ultrasound or magnetic resonance scans. Most cases of enterogenous cysts are treated surgically. We report the case of an enterogenous cyst in the Douglas’ pouch of a 3-month-old girl who was referred to the Department of Child Endocrinology with suspected ovarian cysts.
