EN
Mastocytosis is a group of rare diseases characterized by excessive growth of mast cells in skin, mucous membranes, bone marrow, liver, spleen, lymph nodes. Signs and symptoms result mostly from mast cells mediators, like histamine and prostaglandins, and mast cells or-gan infiltration. In this article we describe based on the available literature uncommon manifestations of mast cell disorder. Pulmonary and cardiovascular localization of mastocytosis is extremely rare and in most instances have not been substantiated with pathologic confirmation. Kounis syndrome is a coronary hypersensitivity disorder known also as syndro-me of allergic angina or allergic myocardial infarction in the course of an allergic, hypersensitivity, anaphylactic, and anaphylactoid reaction. Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is a syndrome characterized by transient regional systolic and diastolic dysfunction of the left ventricle leading to a variety of wall motion abnormalities. The pulmonary involment in mastocytosis is demonstrated by asthma-like bronchial hyperreactivity or intrapulmonary nodules
