Abstracts
In the paper the authoress has presented a geobotanical characterization
of „Gaik” Reserve, estimated a preservation state of phytocoenoses as
well as natural, scientific and didactic qualities, and finally, formulated utilization
directions. In the reserve she has distinguished Tilio-Carpinetum stachyetosum
silvaticae and T.-C. typicum, variants typicum and termophilous. In all shapes of
an oak-hornbeam forest the authoress has identified degeneration phases and forms,
resulting from 200 years’ utilization of the forest by man. She has pointed out the
existence of 328 species of cryptogamic and vascular plants and also suggested an
extension of reserve limits.
