Circadian activity of the subcommissural organ (SCO) and paraphysis cerebri (PC), as judged by changes in the nuclear volume of the SCO ependymal and paraphyseal cells, was found in sexually tricular organs reaches its maximum at 16.00, and minimum at 24.00 (SCO), or 04.00 h (PC).
