Bacteriae sporogenesis in the aspect of biotechnological processes

The process thermal sterilization is very important for both: food processing technology and for many biotechnological processes. It should be carried out in such a way as to efficiently destroy microorganisms and to restrict the decrease of nutritive value of the sterilized media. The paper presents physiological and biochemical conditions of thermal resistance of spores. Special attention has been paid to environmental factors which either protect or enhance the thermal destruction of spores.
