The Internat has become one of the main means of information exchange between biologist.The development of the World Wide Web has been especially influential in expanding the use of the Internet.THis review is meant as an intriductory Internat rutioral for the layman with the emphasis on benefits for molecular biologists.The use of e-mail servers and descriptions of the ftp and WWW sites relevant to the biologists are discussed.
