The species of the Paramecium aurelia complex in the Eastern Carpathians in Ukraine

The presence of P. biaurelia and P. triaurelia was recorded in one habitat, i.e. the Prutec stream, in the village Mykulychyn, the Gorgany Mts. Especially interesting seems the finding of a new habitat of P. triaurelia in Ukraine, and the first time in the Carpathians. It extends its range in Europe to the east.
