Summary There are behavioural differences between men and women. In this review, anatomical basis of those differences, both related and non-related to reproduction, is discussed. The article considers sexually dimorphic nuclei of hypothalamus which are responsible for reproductive behaviours, as well as some cortical regions involved in sex-related control of cognitive functions.
